Gazette has been published in Italy to take 69,600 workers.
The official gazette was published on 18 January.
Earlier, the process of submitting applications has started from 9 am on January 12. However, applications will be submitted on different dates in different sectors. Of these, January 26 is non-seasonal and February 1 is seasonal. Thus, the application will be submitted continuously till March 16.
On the other hand, there are two categories: those who come on non-seasonal visas will get a two-year stay-permit and those who come on seasonal visas will get a validity of nine months.
It is known that this year 2022 it will be very difficult for the general sponsor Bangladeshis to apply. One of the reasons for this is that in the cases where non-seasonal sponsors have given, Bangladeshis do not have much ownership in these sectors. Bangladeshi businessmen have not been able to dominate in construction, heavy transport, tourism and big hotel business.
As a result, it will be difficult to get non-seasonal sponsors. The sector will be able to accommodate 26,600 workers from different countries, of which 16,000 are specifically Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Korea (Republic of Korea), Costa di Avorio, Agitto, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Philippines, Gambia, Ghana. , Giappon, Guatemala, India, Kosovo, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Republic of Macedonia, Delnord, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Ukraine.
On the other hand, 42,000 workers from 31 countries including Bangladesh will be able to come on seasonal visa. There are many opportunities in this sector. However, the 2020 seasonal visa has not yet been issued. In that case, there are concerns in various quarters about how many sponsors will come out after submitting this year.
Advocate Anichuzzaman Anis, a legal adviser and central international secretary of the JSD, said the non-seasonal (sponsored) visa application announced in Italy on January 26 was not as open as in previous years. This time you can submit in only three categories here. People will be able to apply in construction, heavy vehicle drivers, large residential hotels and tourism.
It goes without saying that Bangladeshi expatriates do not have much relationship with the owners of the categories mentioned here. That makes it very difficult to apply for sponsorship. In that case it is much easier to apply for a seasonal visa for agriculture. If you get a good owner, it is possible to get Nullaosta (visa) within 4/5 months.
