The Vivo X70 Pro is now the best camera smartphone after losing the iPhone 13 series, says DXoMark
Ever since the launch of Apple's iPhone 13 series smartphones, the world's attention has been drawn to camera performance. But now the camera of this latest iPhone series has overtaken Vivo's flagship smartphone Vivo X70 Pro which entered the global market last September. Recently, the popular benchmark website, DxOMark has revealed the results of this phone's camera performance. And every Vivo fan is overwhelmed by the results of that test. The camera of the Vivo X70 Pro has topped the list of DXOmark's premium smartphones.
The Vivo X70 Pro topped DxOMark's list of premium camera smartphones
In the DXOmark camera test, the Vivo X60 Pro (MediaTek variant) has scored 131 points overall. The camera of this phone has got 139 points, while its zoom and video score has reached 8 and 111 points respectively. With this score, Vivo's flagship smartphone topped the benchmarking site's list of premium camera smartphones. The iPhone 13 has also left the phone behind.
Not only in the premium smartphone segment, Vivo X60 Pro is not far behind in terms of all phones. The smartphone is currently ranked 12th in the DXOmark Global Rankings for Cameras.
According to DxOMark, the Vivo X70 Pro has a great performance in terms of exposure to low light shots and also offers a wide dynamic range.
The camera of this phone creates nice colors and can capture great detail pictures in low light. The Vivo X70 Pro provides accurate autofocus, wide depth of field, accurate white balance on ultra-wide cameras, and good detail for medium-range telephoto shots. In addition, the phone provides good exposure, accurate white balance and satisfactory detail in bright light when shooting video. The camera provides effective video stabilization.
However, the test also found some defects in the camera of this phone. For example, indoor and low light photos show a lack of white balance. The clipping problem is evident in the subtle details of the high contrast scene, and the shots show a slight noise in all situations. Some of the other major problems found in the test are the shutter lag of this camera and the sudden decrease in the resolution of the images taken in telephoto mode. Autofocus is unstable when shooting in low light and the videos lack detail.
However, these flaws did not prevent the Vivo X70 Pro from snatching the title of premium camera smartphone.
